CAPS

CAPS, or MSU's Counseling and Psychiatric Services, has a plethora of resources available for a variety of mental health issues. From group counseling to one-on-one therapy, they specialize in a range of topics- including LGBT. Check out their website and you'll be able to find the help you need. They also offer same-day availability and financing options- and some services are completely free of charge.

Project Let's Erase The Stigma

Sometimes a club can be what people need the most. Luckily, MSU has plenty of these. The purpose of this organization is to provide an inclusive community for MSU students with mental illness, through peer support services, advocacy efforts, educational initiatives, and political change. Project LETS at MSU is a campus chapter of the national nonprofit, Project LETS, Inc.

Another group at MSU, Spartan Support Network (SSN) seeks to address and promote students' mental health, well being and day-to-day lives through weekly peer-facilitated groups and community-building events.
